Sand art Sunday and the days in between

Well well well three holes in the ground or is it just the one hole no it was actually three two nostrils and a mouth to be precise. This is what happens when you make pancakes on Sunday then go to the beach to catch up on sanity all at the same time as being starved from the art studio.

Lots has been happening in my life and as a result not too much blog action, but here it is a real effort to catch up. My 7 day a week newish business is entering its 20th month and I am finally able to have a little more time to me so what do I do with this time, well every Sunday I cook pancakes for the family then I take my youngest daughter plus any hanger ons to the beach and its becoming beautiful down there I can tell you. usually I don my fishing rod but this time we just went beach combing and sand art day.

Haven't been able to go to the art studio at all really, so being frustrated with this I decide to play in the sand and this is the result a 4 foot sand art picture complete with inner mouth as I reached the water below which you cant see but it was very effective. A very impressed 7 year old just kept watching in amazement at this creation and I can tell you that i was actually well chuffed myself to see the final result.

DAVEY JONES' LOCKER!

Introducing Davey Jones' locker, the newest addition to my world actually its not really as he's an old familiar in my life that lurks in the shadows like the coward he is and cloaks me in his darkness when we are alone with no rhyme or reason to suck the very flame of my existence from my very being. But now A have him trapped in his box.

THE LACK OF HEART

You will notice a distinct lack of heart in Davey Jones, but fear not, for if you look closer you can see the glimmering hope of light emanating from his Core.

THE FACE WITHIN

Being able to put a face to my inner darkness has been very empowering as I now know that I truly rule my own life, not the shadow of darkness that shrouds some of my days and cheats me of family stripping me of the joy of living.

Davey Jones is the result of a love affair started on March 2nd with Liquid Nails! A Chance Meeting with Liquid Nails through a wonderful man called Michael De Meng, has, I believe changed my life.

Michael's' teachings are not to be missed under any circumstances, he is a true believer of the art within and surrounding, all of us. If you ever get the chance take his class do so its awesome.

A word of note, (if you let yourself), you can be transformed by his "subliminal" teaching practices and artfulness and find you too can release the bindings of your own mind. A completely mind blowing experience was this workshop.

Today I started using Friendly plastic. After some time playing around with it I found that patience is your best tool when using this amazing medium.

Without further ado her are my samples from today. Trying ever so hard to keep being creative much to every ones disapproval, until they saw the outcome that is. Now I cant keep one of the girls out of my studio, Oh Ho Hum how sad! Grin....
